The Maps More
than 500 maps from Vintyri products
are available for free download as Open Game Content. This collection includes overland maps,
town maps, battlemaps, floor plans and dungeon plans. Users
of Fractal Mapper 9 or Fractal Mapper 8 can download fully
editable versions of these maps in the native FMP formats. All also are
available as JPG files. The downloads

The
Vintyri Project offers game
masters who make their own maps a wide variety of tools – both of our own
creation and under license from 3rd party sources – to make better
maps and to improve one's own cartographic skills. From our own workshop comes the Vintyri
Cartographic Collection, a large collection of raster-based structural symbols
based on actual European historical buildings from the Middle Ages. In
addition, we distribute Bogie's Mapping
Objects and the CSUAC/Dundjinni
Archives collection. All these collections
are free and licensed for personal and commercial use. Together, they offer nearly 27,000 new PNG symbols and 1,500 new
PNG fill styles. In
addition to these cartographic accessories, the Vintyri Project also offers several free tutorials for FM8 mapmakers. The most important of these is our raster
mapping tutorial for FM8. The official FM8 tutorial gives the user an in-depth introduction in vector
mapping. Our tutorial begins where the
official tutorial ends and continues with an in-depth introduction in raster
mapping. It is included in the Vintyri
Cartographic Collection 3.0 download file. For more information: ·

The
Vintyri Project offers game
masters all the Jörðgarð Campaign Settings maps in the original Fractal Mapper .fmp-Format. All maps are available in Fractal Mapper
8 format, and all beginning with Trailsend are available in Fractal
Mapper 9 format. That the earlier
maps are available only in FM8 format is no problem for FM9
users. It can open the FM8 maps
and memorize them anew in FM9 format, giving the maps the enhanced
graphical quality of FM9. This gives the game master who has Fractal
Mapper the ability to modify the official maps to suit his own campaign,
but that, of course, is useful only if one knows how to use FM9
well. The free, heavily-illustrated FM9
Raster Mapping Tutorial teaches a game maker how to do every that is done
on the original FM9 maps of the Jörðgarð campaign. For more information: ·
